01Who we are
Kara Digital ("we", "us") is a digital agency operating in Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through karadigital.co, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Questions or requests: info@karadigital.co.
02What we collect
Information you give us directly: your name, email address, company and anything you write in the contact form, newsletter signup or pre-session questionnaire. Information collected automatically: standard analytics data such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, used in aggregate to understand how the site is used.
03How we use it
To respond to your enquiry and book strategy sessions; to send the newsletter you signed up for (unsubscribe any time, one click); to run and improve the website; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Ever.
04Cookies & analytics
The site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement (for example Google Analytics and the Meta pixel). These help us understand what content works and measure our own campaigns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working without them.
05Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us operate: hosting, email delivery, analytics and our client dashboard, Yamada. Each is bound to use your information only to provide their service to us. Some providers may store data outside Australia; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure equivalent protection. We disclose information to authorities only where the law requires it.
06Storage & retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it. We use reputable providers and reasonable technical safeguards to protect what we hold.
07Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@karadigital.co and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
